Believe
Believe is a two-day event specifically for jr. high students only. Packed with high energy worship, Biblical teaching, and one-on-one interaction, Believe is a challenging opportunity where we can invest in student relationships. Believe is the Jr. High Winter Retreat.
The theme for the trip is Connect. We will be leaving the church building Friday, March 7 at 2:00p.m. We will return home on Sunday, March 9 at the end of third service. The cost is $50, due on Sunday, January 13, or else the cost will go up. The cost includes the conference fee, transportation, hotel, a t-shirt, and food. Students will need to bring a sack dinner to eat on the road Friday night. We hope to have your jr. high student on the trip with us.
If you want more information, you can go to http://www.ciy.com/believe/07-08-theme.

Extreme Setpember 16th - October 7th
Series: "2x2 On Mission Together"
September 16th - Double Play (Jimmy S. is speaking)
September 23rd - Double Time (Ted B. is speaking)
September 30th - Double Wide (Mark S. is speaking)
October 7th - Double Dose (Jimmy S. is speaking)
Checkpoints: Meaningful Relationships
Your friends determine the direction and quality of your life. If you walk with the wise you grow wise. Spending time with right kind of friends definitely helps you grow in a positive and healthy direction. Scripture also teaches that "The companion of fools will suffer harm." Learn to build healthy friendships and avoid unhealthy friends
The people you associate with the most will have a direct impact on the decisions you make and the standards you choose. Healthy friendships build you up and draw you closer to God; unhealthy friendships bring you down and cause you to compromise what you know is right. This principle focuses on helping you build healthy friendships while avoiding unhealthy ones.
Critical Questions: Are you establishing healthy friendships and avoiding unhealthy ones?
